Lowri is a soprano from the Brecon Beacons in Wales and is a student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she studies with Janice Chapman and Marie Vassiliou.
Her operatic appearances include Miss Wingrave in Britten's Owen Wingrave (Guildhall School Opera, 2026), the title role in Lucrezia by Respighi (Guildhall School Opera 2025), Margaret in Gef! by Meredith (Guildhall Opera Makers 2025), and Seconda Sorella Cercatrice in Suor Angelica by Puccini (West Green House Opera, 2024).
She has also performed as a soloist in works such as Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem (Cwmbran Baroque Singers, 2025), Te Deum by Dvořák (Crickhowell Choral Society) and Handel's Messiah (Crickhowell Choral Society, 2020).
Other recent engagements include a performance of Strauss' Vier Lieder alongside the LSSO at Barbican Hall as well as competing in the semi-final of the 2026 Kathleen Ferrier Awards with pianist, Alexander Arenare.
Alongside performance, Lowri is highly passionate about the power of music in education and outreach work. She holds a PGCE in Secondary Music from Manchester Metropolitan University and has taught in several schools and institutions across the UK. She is currently a member of staff at the Center for Young Musicians in London.
Future performances include performing the role of Mrs Johannes in Guildhall School's upcoming production of Proving Up by Missy Mazzoli and West Green House Opera's production of The Magic Flute where she will be performing the role of Second Lady.
